Will add more as soon as I can and hope to get a brief review of the ship posted as well. Resting up for a bit and then I'm off again on from Vencie to Bari, Italy, Katakolon, Greece, Izmir Turkey, Istanbul, Turkey, Dubrovnik, Croatia and then back to Venice. All this starts this Saturday April 26/08.

It's cold and rainy today again today, but that's the way it goes. As I will be back in Dubrovnik at the end of next week, I have decided to relax and take it easy today. All this traveling makes a guy tired.

Hopefully the weather will improve next week and I will be able to walk around, get some great pictures and let you know more about Dubrovnik.

Off to Venice this afternoon and then I start part 2 of this Med cruise.



Ship is scheduled to leave at 2:00pm. It's cold and rainy today and not too comfortable for strolling around but that's the way it goes.





I'm in Naples, Italy now and heading over to the island of Capri. Arrived in Naples this morning around 7:30 and decided to take the high speed hydrofoil over to Capri. Return ticket cost me 32 Euros for a 45 minute hydrofoil ride that had the crew passing out plastic bags to passengers... the sea was angry today my friends, but I was ok.





Have arrived in Rome, Italy after sailing all day yesterday and through the night, distance traveled about 430 nautical miles.





Am presently cruising on the MSC Poesia heading for Rome, and the port of Civitavecchia. Uploading this story through a satellite internet connection on the ship, not exactly cheap, but convenient.





I'm off again... currently on my way to Barcelona, Spain via London. Will spend some time in Barcelona, before I board the MSC Poesia a brand new cruise ship that was launched on April 5/08 in Dover England. This is the inaugural cruise and I am one of the privileged people that will be onboard.
